Rules and Criteria for the Costume Contest

Registration and Contest times

Registration

Registration will take place at our Guest Cosplay Judge table and all registration to participate must be completetd by 12:30pm on Sunday, May 5th.

Children Costume Contest

The children costume contest will run from 1:15pm until 2:00pm on Sunday, May 5th.

Adult Costume Contest

The adult costume contest will run from 2:15pm until 3:30pm on Sunday, May 5th.

Children (All participants aged 12 or under)

Adult made:

An adult in your life significantly helped you make this costume.

Child made:

You made the majority of your costume yourself with little help from an adult.

Adult (All participants aged 13 or older)

Novice:

Entrants display a beginners level of craftsmanship.

Journeyman:

Entrants display a basic level of craftsmanship.

Artisan:

Entrants display an average level of craftsmanship in at least one medium, and basic levels in others.

Masters:

Entrants display an above average level of craftsmanship in one medium, and average level in multiple mediums.

Grand Masters:

Entrants display above average level of craftsmanship in multiple mediums.
